The Christ Holy Sanctified Church Leadership Conference and Retreat is honored to present this conclave of business, education, and religious leaders who will be speaking and sharing focused and sub-topic presentations centered around the theme, “H.O.T. – Healed, Obedient, & Triumphant”.   Each registrant will receive a copy of each speaker’s presentation as part of the conference material in addition to the speakers’ comprehensive bio.

“Obedience Yields Ultimate Triumph
Most people do not understand the true meaning of obedience – spiritually and naturally.   Christ Holy Sanctified Church’s chief apostle will be presenting hard-hitting reality checks when it comes to being triumphant as a results of obedience. Breaking tradition, Bishop will also be sharing updates regarding the organization’s 2020’s Holy Convocation and the 100 Year Holy Convocation in Beaumont, TX July 26 – 31, 2020.

Bishop Richard Probasco – Thursday, January 23 – 3:45 PM – 5:00 PM
Presenter/Keynote: General Session –“The Healthy Heart of a Spiritual Leader”

Bishop Richard Probasco has served as the senior pastor of the New Song Community Church for the past 40 years.  Under his leadership, New Song International was founded in 1991 from which foreign mission stations have been founded in 14 countries around the world.  Starting with a handful of members, New Song has grown to over 2,500 members with many diverse ministries. 

Bishop Probasco is well known in Portland, Oregon as leader with involvement in civic outreach programs, especially those that deal with troubled youth.   The Bishop serves on many boards and is very active in mentoring pastors and ministry executive directors with his nearly 50 years of pastoral experience.  His international itinerant schedule keeps him in constant demand.  Bishop is also well known as a singer, musician, and worship leader.  He and his wife Patrishia have been married for 43 years and reside in northeast Portland.

Presenter/Keynote: Closed Session – “Practicing Mental Health and Wellness as You Lead” 
Dr. Cheryl Hamilton-Jefferson has worked in the social service profession for over 20 years. Cheryl’s formal training began in 1998 when she and her husband served eight years as associate pastors for a church in Portland, OR. Later, she served as a Program Director for a women’s residential facility. There she provided spiritual direction, one-on-one counseling and education or women facing life controlling issues. 
Cheryl has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in biblical studies and holds a Masters of Arts in Counseling. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington and currently works as a clinical manager for a community mental health agency. Cheryl also is the founder of Sheltered from the Storm Counseling Services, LLC. It is there that she provides Christian mental health services for men and women; with a specialty in working with women who have a history of trauma. Cheryl enjoys the arts, music, ballroom dancing and spending time with her only grandchild.
Dr. LeRoy Haynes, Jr. – Friday, January 25 – 2:15 – 3:30 PM

Presenter/Keynote Speaker: General Session – “The Church Triumphant Through Social Justice”
Dr. LeRoy Haynes, Jr., came to Allen Temple as a pastor with 25 years of experience in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. He also brought vision and strong teaching credentials as a Biblical scholar and Christian theologian.
An acclaimed civil rights activist in Texas before moving to Portland, he served as a youth organizer for Martin Luther King Jr.’s Southern Christian Leadership Conference ; was a field organizer for the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee; and was co-founder of the Texas Black Panther Party.
At Allen Temple, Haynes has led a “purpose driven church.” He has developed many significant ministries that reach beyond the walls of the congregation to serve the greater community such as a drug abuse program, homeless outreach and an HIV/AIDS education program.
His dedication to church and community has won him accolades from Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon, the city of Portland and many local organizations. He has taken leadership roles with his service on community panels and commissions, working on social justice issues and youth gang violence. He is the past president of the Board of Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon and Emeritus President of North Portland Bible College and Co-Chair of the Albina Ministerial Alliance.
Haynes is the author of “God’s Prophet in Non-Violence, the story of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Life.”

Presenter: General Session – “The Gospel Converging with Culture”
Bishop C.T. Wells, is the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Church and the Founding Pastor of Emmanuel East Worship and Outreach Center.  A single, thriving ministry with two strategic central and east locations situated in the beautiful City of Portland, Oregon.  Inspired by the conviction that the church must engage people more deeply, while expressing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in fresh and innovative ways, Dr. Wells leadership and message are marked by a keen focus that the Gospel has immeasurable power to impact anyone, transforming them into conquering people.  Further that God’s divine power gives us all things necessary for successful life and godliness. 
Dr. Wells is one of six founding pastors of “Wind-11:45” an organization that bring churches and pastors together in the greater Portland area for fellowship and inspiration that is centered on the Word of God, prayer, and worship.  He serves as the Provincial Bishop for Global United Fellowship. Lastly our Bishop serves as the Senior Servant of the Fellowship of Full Gospel Pentecostal Churches. 
Dr. Wells holds a MA in Christian Ministries from George Fox University, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Friends International University.  He has traveled around the country and the world preaching, teaching, and training leaders.  He is the author of “Courageous in Conflict”, a book containing 15 practical and biblical principles, which can help anyone, of any background; think wisely about meeting conflict head on and walking away the better for it. 

Dr. Wells has been married to the love of his life, First Lady DeAngeloa S. Wells for over 35 years, they are the proud parents of Chastity Wells Palmer (Cameron) and Ashlei Tellis (Charles) along with their 2-year-old grandson (Carson Wells Palmer).

Debbie Ann (Brooks) Brown was born in Los Angeles, California; she was raised in Franklinton, North Carolina where she learned to cook southern dishes. She is often told how great a cook she is and that she should own her own restaurant. She is married to Bishop Craig Brown (1978), the presiding bishop of Christ Holy Sanctified Churches and they are blessed with a son, Gabriel Craig and his wife, Sharonda Shaw Brown; two daughters, Yulanda Rochelle and her husband, Fabian Parson, and Miranda Stephanie.  Together, she and her husband worked faithfully in many programs, projects, and fundraisers, and traveled throughout the state and country attending the various conventions of the Christ Holy Sanctified Church (CHSC).  She currently serves in her local church as Women’s Director, as a staff minister, and assists in the Finance Department. She and her husband are continuing to share the love of Jesus Christ by being examples to their children, family, congregation, and community.  Presently, First Lady Brown is following her dream by obtaining a degree in Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Forum Facilitator: General Session – “Balancing Life, Family, and Ministry”
In Jeremiah 3:15, God speaks through his prophet telling him “I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding”
Bishop William T. Turner, Jr is such a Pastor. His love for God is exemplified through his love for God’s people, especially those he shepherds in the Trinity church family. He is a confident but humble man who has a heart for God and a desire to see God’s people mature into the fullness and purpose of Christ for their lives. Bishop Turner is a compassionate, approachable leader whose life reflects integrity and character. He is a skilled administrator, planner and organizer.
Bishop Turner is a recipient of both a Bachelor of Theology degree and Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies degree from Multnomah Biblical Seminary. He has instructed at the North Portland Bible College and served as the inaugural director for the Center for Urban Pastoral Studies. As a Bishop within the Christ Holy Sanctified Churches of America, he serves as the Northwest Diocese Bishop, overseeing churches in the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, Idaho and Montana. In addition to his local pastorate and national church responsibilities, Bishop Turner served on various civic and community boards within the greater Portland metropolitan area. Responding to the need to take the Gospel into the human context and condition, he founded the Hope Network, whose mission is to provide outreach and affordable academic education, literacy training, and Bible-based spiritual development to disenfranchised children and families in the Portland metro area.
Bishop and First Lady Patricia Turner share 41 years of devoted marriage and have two beautiful daughters. Together they have answered God’s call to shepherd the flock of Trinity. Through their leadership the favor and providence of God has been manifested as they continue to work together to position Trinity to be “Anointed, Progressive and Relevant ”.

Bishop-elect Titus Smith is one of the “sons of the church” being born and raised in Christ Holy Sanctified Church under his father and only pastor, the late Bishop W.T. and mother, Mother Earnestine Smith, the founders of Holy Temple CHSC.  Having served in every capacity and office in the local, district, and jurisdiction levels of Christ Holy Sanctified Church, Bishop-elect Smith is a member of the Board of Presbytery (Board One) of CHSC, the Jurisdiction Bishop of the Texas North Jurisdiction and recently elected as the 2nd Assistant Presiding Bishop of CHSC.  Bishop-elect Smith is the senior pastor of Holy Temple in Dallas, TX where he has served as pastor since 2008.  He is married to Sheila and they are blessed with two children, Ashley and Jasmine.

Presenter: Women’s Session – “Cover Girl”
Pastor Mae Williams is the co-pastor of Community Family Worship Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she serves beside her husband, Bishop Earnest Williams. The two have worked together as a ministry team since 1993 when they planted their first ministry Solid Rock Outreach Church in Tacoma, Washington.  Pastor Mae believes in the trans-formative power of the Holy Spirit and with God’s anointing she ministers to people to experience the power of the Holy Spirit through revelation and demonstration. With the testimony God has given her and her utter dependence on God the Father, Pastor Mae carries an anointing that penetrates the depths of every soul she encounters.  Her teaching is practical and her flow in the prophetic gift opens the door for the Holy Spirit to bring forth deliverance and change.  Pastor Mae lives what she preaches and is a blessing to all who meet her.
Rev. Elmer Yarborough – Thursday, January 23 – 1:15 – 2:15 PM
Associate Minister – Trinity Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Portland, OR
Presenter: General Session “Triumphant:  Addressing Violence and Threats in Our Churches”

Elmer J. Yarborough, III is a Community Health Initiative Care Manager who works directly to strengthen and build community in the greater Portland metropolitan area. He specializes in working with at-risk (what he prefers to call “at-hope) youth and young people directly impacted by gang violence. A strong believer that anyone can change regardless of who they are and where they’ve come from, Elmer is familiar with being marginalized because of where he has come from. Gang activity, drug dealing, and jail were common occurrences in his life until one day he came to realize that he had to change.

An Army veteran, Elmer graduated from Portland Community College with a Degree in Criminal Justice and currently works as a volunteer with the Bureau of Portland Police Crisis Response Team. He along with his team are responsible for intervening in traumatic situations which impact individuals, disenfranchised families, and the marginalized citizens at large. As a member of the crisis response team, he responds to homicides, police related investigations of gang violence, as well as hate and bias crimes. Elmer been awarded the Portland Police Commendation Medal, the Bureau Unit Commendation Award, and in April of 2019, recognized for Community Care.

Along with being a beacon in the community, Elmer and his wife LeDeana serves as ordained ministers at Trinity Full Gospel Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Bishop William T. Turner Jr. and First Lady Patricia Turner. 

Elmer & LaDeana have been married for 24 years. Together they have four wonderful sons; John, Elmer IV, Anton and Mar’Qeese. They also have two grandsons Isaiah and Akai.

Overview/Presentation: General Session 
Bishop Erika L. Braxter, is a “chip off the block” following in the foot steps of her mother, the late Bishop Georgia Jones – Christ Holy Sanctified Church’s first female bishop and presiding bishop (2006-2008).  A dynamic preacher and teacher, she embodies the passion for preaching and evangelism from both her mother and grandmother, the late Geneva Joubert Smith, who helped carve and grow countless churches from the 1940s through the min 1990s. Bishop Braxter currently serves as the General Secretary for Christ Holy Sanctified Church (CHSC) and is youngest member of the Board of Presbytery (ruling body).  She is the senior pastor of Evangel Temple Church in Lake Charles, LA and the jurisdiction bishop of the Sabine Jurisdiction.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and is a teacher in the Lake Charles School District.  She is married to Deacon Clarence Braxter and they have two children, Whitney and Christian.
