Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints

Bishop Craig E. Brown, Presiding Prelate, along with the General Board, officers, trustees, and the general assembly of Christ Holy Sanctified Church offers sincerest condolences at the passing of those who are now with the Lord.

Christ Holy Sanctified Church mourns the passing of Mother Bessie M. Burrell, who went home to be with the Lord July 4, 2022.  Mother Burrell was the oldest member CHSC member transition at the age of 97 years old and was the matriarch of the Burrell and Smoots families.  Mother Burrell was a member of Harvest Time Ministries in Georgetown, TX.

On behalf of Presiding Bishop Craig Brown, Christ Holy Sanctified Church extends condolences to the entire Burrell and Smoot families, many of which are sewn into the fabric of CHSC such as some of her siblings: Sis. Julia Wilson (former National Mission’s President), Pastor Lawrence Smoots, Sis. Iris Hayward, and First Lady Margie Foster.

Let us continue to pray for her son, Auxiliary Bishop Robert Burrell, his sisters, and the host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the Harvest Time Church Family.

Christ Holy Sanctified Church is deeply saddened at the passing of Bishop A. Edward Bell, who went home to be with the Lord June 21, 2022.  We are praying for his wife, Willie, and the entire Bell family.

Bishop Bell was instrumental to CHSC in so many ways – too numerous to list – and we will miss his counsel, wisdom, wit, and humor.
